Intelligence that acts.

AI-powered competitive analysis, market research, patent landscape mapping, and strategic advisory. Not dashboards. Decisions. Every deliverable arrives with a recommended next action and a live backing dataset, not a bound report that starts going stale the day it lands.

The Problem

Most business intelligence tools give you charts. You still have to figure out what to do with them. The gap between data and decision is where businesses lose time and money, and the traditional research industry has no incentive to close that gap because the gap is where the next engagement comes from.

The other failure mode is shallow data. A generic market report is often assembled from whatever the analyst could grab in the first hour of desk research: the same six publicly-quoted stats, the same three competitor comparisons, the same sentence about TAM. It reads plausible, it bills expensively, and it does not tell you anything a thoughtful founder could not discover with a morning of their own effort.

We combine joined public-dataset analysis with human judgment to deliver intelligence that arrives with recommended actions. The underlying data view stays live so you can ask follow-up questions and get refreshed answers rather than commissioning a second report.

What we deliver

Competitive intelligence

Patent landscape analysis, product positioning, pricing strategy, and market-gap identification. We join USPTO PPubs claim data, SEC filings, SBIR awards, and commercial press signal so the competitor profile is grounded in verifiable public record rather than scraped marketing copy.

Market research

EDGAR filings, SBIR awards, federal contract histories, FEC donor data, IRS 990 non-profits, state entity registries, app-store review corpora. 170+ datasets across 10 public APIs. We pull broad and filter downstream rather than narrowing the query up front and discovering the gap too late.

Business valuation

IP-asset valuation, revenue modeling, and comparable-company analysis for fundraising, M&A, or internal planning. Patent-claim mapping and prior-art strength assessment are done at the level of detail an investor diligence team will apply, not the surface-level summary most founders self-produce.

Strategic advisory

Go-to-market strategy, partnership identification, regulatory landscape analysis, operational planning. Recommendations arrive with reasoning and with the specific evidence they rest on, so you can pressure-test the logic rather than inheriting the conclusion.

Why our reports stay fresh

The Data Prospector infrastructure underneath our intelligence work is the same architecture that powers CxMS Pro’s memory engine. Confidence tiering. Contradiction detection. Automated consolidation when the same signal shows up in a dozen places. When a new SEC filing lands, the landscape updates. When a new patent publishes, the competitor profile adjusts.

A traditional market report is a snapshot. Our intelligence product is a living view. You bought the snapshot because that is what the industry sells. What you actually wanted was a view that stays correct the morning after it arrives.

FAQ

What data sources do you actually pull from?
EDGAR (SEC filings), USPTO PPubs and Open Data Portal, SBIR and STTR award histories, USAspending.gov, FEC individual and committee records, IRS Form 990 filings, state business-entity registries, federal grant registries, app store review corpora, LinkedIn company-level signal, Crunchbase, and about 160 other public or API-accessible datasets. We do not scrape behind logins, and we do not buy lead-lists. The value is in joining signal across datasets that most analysts treat separately.
How does this differ from a market-research firm?
A traditional market-research firm produces a bound report, delivers it on a quarter-end timeline, and charges tens of thousands of dollars. The report is accurate on the day it was printed and less accurate every week after. Our intelligence product is query-shaped: you describe the decision you need to make, we assemble the evidence, and the deliverable arrives with recommended actions and an updatable backing data view. Reports are smaller. Iteration is faster. The underlying dataset stays live.
Can you help with a fundraising round?
Yes. The IP-backed valuation work (patent landscape analysis, claim-mapping, prior-art strength assessment, exclusion-field mapping) is exactly what an investor diligence team looks at and what most founders cannot produce on their own. We have done this work for our own company. Sixteen provisional patent applications, one hundred fifty-six claims, mapped against competitors like Mem0, Gloo, and the adjacent commercial landscape. Same methodology is available as a single engagement.
Do you guarantee a specific outcome?
No. Intelligence work is not outcome-contingent. We guarantee the quality of the analysis, the freshness of the data, and the specificity of the recommendations. We do not guarantee that a market will respond as predicted, that a patent claim will survive prosecution, or that a competitor will behave rationally. Anyone who does promise those things is lying.
How does the Retained Advisory tier work?
A quarterly rhythm. Month one of each quarter is a structured refresh: competitive landscape delta since last quarter, patent and funding news for the tracked comparables, regulatory and compliance changes relevant to your operating category. Months two and three are query-driven: you surface the decision you are currently stuck on, we produce a focused deliverable within ten business days. The retainer price reflects ongoing access, not a fixed volume of reports.
Is this the same system that powers CxMS Pro's memory?
The underlying Data Prospector infrastructure is shared. CxMS Pro's memory engine is a consumer of the same data pipelines and confidence-tier methodology we use for business intelligence. One of the reasons our analyses stay fresh longer than traditional reports is that the same memory architecture that makes CxMS Pro useful (confidence tiering, contradiction detection, automated consolidation) is running underneath our intelligence deliverables too.
